THINGS TO DO

There are a variety of activities to do at the Cultured Food Festival. Some activities are free while others charge a small fee.

HORSE-DRAWN WAGON TOURS

Rise a guided tour on a horse-drawn wagon as it meanders past one of our  lavender fields as far as the thousand-year-old oak tree and back. Tours last approximately 15 minutes during which your guide will present information about the history of Highland Springs Ranch & Inn and current preservation efforts. Adults $5, Seniors $3 and Children $3 (5-12 years old).

SCOBY PETTING ZOO

HORSE RIDING

Touch and feel a SCOBY that is used to make kombucha. Learn how easy it is to make your own kombucha at home.

Various talks on fermentation including some live demonstrations. Click here to view the complete list.

Take a guided horse ride along a path. For children an adults of all ages. $10 per ride.

DISTILLATION

AFTERNOON TEA

Help our farmer feed our herd of sheep.

Group departs at 3 pm. Please wear comfortable shoes as the sheep pen is about a 5-7 minute walk. Meet by the Distillery behind the Live Music Stage.

Join us as we distill tea tree essential oil. The 123 Farmer will explain the health benefits of the oil and general information on aromatherapy. Daily at 2 pm.

A fermented twist on afternoon tea, try delicacies made by our own kitchen. $28 per person. Served indoors. Reservations required 951-845-1151.
