Join us for a lesson on wine pairing (with cheese or chocolate) and an olive oil tasting in our historic olive groves. Class sizes are limited. Please purchase ticket to ensure space.

Olive Oil Tasting

12 pm, 2 pm & 4 pm  |  Saturday & Sunday

$12 per person

This tasting will explain how the olives are grown, harvested and processed at 123 Farm. You will experience the nuances of the different varietals of olive oil and see how artisanal olive oil is different from the types at the supermarket. Please arrive on time. The tasting will take place outdoors in the olive groves located behind the main music stage. Space is limited to 20 participants per tasting. Class lasts about 30 minutes. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure spot.

Wine & Chocolate Pairing

WORKSHOPS

Workshops have a cost and take place in the Blacksmith, next to the Food Court. Some workshops have limited spacing so please come before the scheduled time. We encourage to purchase your spot online to ensure a guaranteed seat. We will automatically add your name to our workshop list. You will not receive a physical ticket. You are asked to print your online confirmation or have it ready on your phone to show the attendant on the day of your scheduled workshop.

How to Make Cured Olives

12:30-1:00 pm | Saturday & Sunday

$15 per person

Learn how to cure your own olives. Participants take a small jar of olives to cure with them. Space limited to 16 participants per workshop. Class lasts about 25 minutes.

Rosemary Essential Oil Distillation & Massage Oil Making

1:00-2:00 pm, 3:00-4:00 pm | Saturday & Sunday

$15 per person

Participants will first be shown how the essential oils are extracted from the plants. This will be followed by an explanation of the various carrier oils and how to blend these with essential oils using a ratio that will result in a massage oil that is neither too greasy or overpowering. Participants will then make their own 2 oz blend of massage oil using our 123 Farm essential and olive oil. Everyone is welcome to watch the distillation demonstration, but if you would like to participate in the complete workshop please register below. Space limited to 36 participants per workshop. Class lasts about one hour.

Infusing Olive Oils

1:30-2:00 pm | Saturday & Sunday

$20 per person

This hands-on class will take you through the steps to infused your own olive oil. Each participant will infuse and take home their own bottle of rosemary olive oil, basil olive oil and citrus olive oil (2 oz. each). Space limited to 16 participants per workshop. Class lasts about 30 minutes.

Wine Glass Paint & Sip

Join local artist Carolyn Fouty as she teaches you how to paint olive branches on a wine glass. Price includes all materials and one wine glass (to paint) and one glass of wine (to sip).

Cooking with Olive Oil

2:15-3:15 pm | Saturday

$10 per person

In this cooking demonstration, Sonia Perez, Organic Chef of Eating Off the Vine, will show how herbs can really boost the flavor profile of any dish especially when you add olive oil to them.  Find out how to prepare lemon herb chicken and South American herb rice.  Experience the aromas and flavors of herbs as we prepare these delicious dishes. Each participant will sample the dishes prepared by the chef.

Lip Balm Making

In this workshop, you will learn to make our lip balm using essential oil and olive oil from 123 Farm. In addition to your lip balm making experience, you will get to hear about the history of our organic lavender farm and our century-old olive groves. Each participant will make their own lip balms to take home. Space limited to 16 participants per workshop. Class lasts about 25 minutes.

Bath Bomb Making

4:15-4:45 pm | Saturday & Sunday

$16 per person

In this workshop you will learn the step by step process of making the perfect organic bath bomb.  The workshop will give you tips on the effects of each ingredient that makes the bath bomb and will provide several recipes.   You can choose from a variety of essential oils and herbs to make your bath bombs unique. Each participant will go home with 4 large bath bombs and the ability to create great gifts for friends and love ones in the future.

LECTURES

Lectures are free and take place in the Blacksmith, next to the Food Court (in the same building as the Workshops). We encourage you to arrive on time to guarantee a spot, since there is limited seating.
