Seminars

Experts give free lectures on a variety of topics related to health and well-being. Learn about lavender & bees, an organic lifestyle, go on a nature hike and learn about native plants or join in a cooking demonstration using lavender. The free seminars take place in the Hitching Post. Lecture times and topics may change without notice. We suggest you check with the Information Booth on the day of your visit.

DISTILLATION DEMO

10:30 am, 12 pm & 3 pm

123 Farm’s Carol Hamre will be leading these free demonstrations. With her background in aromatherapy and organic farming, she will be showing how the essential oil is made and explaining the numerous health benefits of this remarkable herb.

LAVENDER WANDS

The main feature of the lavender crafts every year is learning how to make a lavender wand. This is not just a ladies’ activity; men have been amongst our best students. This year we will also be teaching easy weaving, and it is easy. Classes run throughout the day every day at the craft table on the main festival site. Each craft will be $7 per person per time.

HORSE RIDES

We are offering horse rides for adults and children. The rider will be led on a short ride through the cactus garden. Rides will be $8 a time for adults and children alike.
